Babies and Kids: Baby Natasha.

Some might wonder if there really is a difference between the ages of newborn to three months in a baby. After all, the only difference most see is they are a bit bigger and weigh more. Other than that, most don't understand just how special photographing a three month old baby truly is. Except parents of course.

Bryan and I walked into the home of Dasha and Yuri. We have seen them quite often since their newest addition, Natasha. As soon as we both saw her, I think we were in a puddle. Scratch that. A lake. Ok, a river of our hearts melting. All it took was one glance into those big, beautiful eyes, and we had instantly fallen in love. I think what probably had us in a flood was her smile. Oh. My. Gosh. Right then and there, I realized why I love, and I mean LOVE photographing three month old babies. Their smiles. I felt like the entire room was glowing. Ok, maybe I am exaggerating just a tiny bit, but seriously, this is how I felt at the time. Everytime, we even glanced in her direction, she would be smiling a grin ever so wide, you could see her baby gums. This is the reason I love Natasha. She is ever so happy, calm and well just as gorgeous as ever. Let's just say she is blessed with REALLY good genes from her mum and dad!

On a side note, one of our favorite little guys and Natasha's older brother, Andre, has become best friends with Bryan as you can see below. Every so often, I would glance in their direction, and there they both would be reading and playing together. Um, can I just say, I was still flooding with happiness.

This is how the Lyeshchenko family has become in our hearts. Good friends. Yuri and Dasha, I hope you absolutely love the photographs of your baby girl and boy and of course of the two of you. To say that you both have some gorgeous children inside and outside is an understatement. Enjoy!

Delicious Designs: Vera Bradley.

Have you ever walked into a store and thought This store was meant for me? I will answer this question with a yes. Times five. It was about three weeks ago. I walked into Vera Bradley's store, and my jaw about dropped. I'm not talking Wow, this store is amazing. I'm talking Um, this store is AMAZING. As I walked around the store, my eyes danced around all the different designs, patterns, and color combinations. These designers have talent and skill. Talk about being inspired as an artist. This place had some of the neatest colors put together; some which would never have crossed my mind. I love this store so much that if they had a room for me to live in, I would. I wouldn't even think twice about it.

Enjoy some of the fantastic designs that I adore from Vera Bradley! Have a wonderful Friday and weekend! (Here's to hoping it does not snow. After all, it is March.)

Lucky.

We were walking down the busy street of Michigan Avenue holding hands on a Friday afternoon. The weather was a bit chilly and there was fog everywhere. I didn't care. I just kept smiling. We were in downtown Chicago and all my eyes could do was dance around at the buildings, the people and all the things that make Chicago, well Chicago. I took out my camera and just started taking pictures. I would see a neat store and snap goes my camera. I would see interesting people or a sweet couple and snap goes my camera. Whatever caught my eye, my camera would snap the picture. Jamie and Ryan went inside to an ATM, and while we waited outside, I leaned over to Bryan and said I wish I could snap a picture of that. Just like that he took my hand and started walking towards the sign. It didn't phase him that we had to cross some busy streets only to capture a sign. That is what he does though. He jumps through hoops to make me smile and let me do what I love so much! While walking down the streets of Chicago, in my head I kept thinking, I am lucky. Lucky enough to have wonderful friends and family, lucky enough to have my health, lucky enough to travel to neat places and most of all lucky enough to have a man I get to marry who somehow, in some way, understands everything my heart desires and will do everything in his power to make sure all is fulfilled. Thank you, Chicago, for allowing me to remember, I am lucky.

Enjoy some pictures of our trip to Chicago with our good friends, Jamie and Ryan, as we did a little tour of good ol' Chicago, ate some Chicago-styled pizza and of course ended our visit with seeing one of our favorite bands, Muse, live! I threw some pictures of the Flogging Molly concert and the Master Brewer of Guinness as well as we wanted to kick off St. Patrick's day right! Watching them and listening to their awesome accents made Bryan and I want to move to Ireland! Right now. Hands down, two of the best concerts I have seen in a long time and one amazing weekend we had!

Makes My Heart Bubble With Joy.

Music would be the one word to describe the weekend Bryan and I experienced! We ended my spring break by hopping on the train to Chicago with two very good friends of ours, saw a live performance by one of our favorite bands, Muse, in Chicago, took the train back to St. Louis, drove back to Kansas City and ended our weekend and began this year's St. Patrick's celebration with seeing Flogging Molly live at the Uptown Theater! Although, we are tired, the trip to Chicago and both concerts in one weekend were far worth it! Enjoy some of today's segment inspired by our mini-vacation in Chi-town, and stay tuned this week of pictures from our fun adventures from the weekend!

Happy Monday!
