Lucky.

We were walking down the busy street of Michigan Avenue holding hands on a Friday afternoon. The weather was a bit chilly and there was fog everywhere. I didn't care. I just kept smiling. We were in downtown Chicago and all my eyes could do was dance around at the buildings, the people and all the things that make Chicago, well Chicago. I took out my camera and just started taking pictures. I would see a neat store and snap goes my camera. I would see interesting people or a sweet couple and snap goes my camera. Whatever caught my eye, my camera would snap the picture. Jamie and Ryan went inside to an ATM, and while we waited outside, I leaned over to Bryan and said I wish I could snap a picture of that. Just like that he took my hand and started walking towards the sign. It didn't phase him that we had to cross some busy streets only to capture a sign. That is what he does though. He jumps through hoops to make me smile and let me do what I love so much! While walking down the streets of Chicago, in my head I kept thinking, I am lucky. Lucky enough to have wonderful friends and family, lucky enough to have my health, lucky enough to travel to neat places and most of all lucky enough to have a man I get to marry who somehow, in some way, understands everything my heart desires and will do everything in his power to make sure all is fulfilled. Thank you, Chicago, for allowing me to remember, I am lucky.

Enjoy some pictures of our trip to Chicago with our good friends, Jamie and Ryan, as we did a little tour of good ol' Chicago, ate some Chicago-styled pizza and of course ended our visit with seeing one of our favorite bands, Muse, live! I threw some pictures of the Flogging Molly concert and the Master Brewer of Guinness as well as we wanted to kick off St. Patrick's day right! Watching them and listening to their awesome accents made Bryan and I want to move to Ireland! Right now. Hands down, two of the best concerts I have seen in a long time and one amazing weekend we had!
